Making Kites

26.6.15 me, Julia and Leah made a really cool kite and this is what it looks like and the plan!

And we finished 20 mins before we were meant to finish!!!

It was really fun!!!!!!!!
All the kites were amazing!
We made our kite out of flax, leaves, bamboo, sellotape and dried out flax to tie everything together. In the end we laid our kites neatly on the stage. We got prises for the most traditional and creative.  

We Are Learning About Plant Observation

This couple of weeks we have been growing plants and ours have grown so much now!!!
Our Objective is Find the reaction of the plant.
Our Hypothesis If we put a plant under purple light it will react and not grow as fast.
So far our plant has grown first 18.6.15 14 cm then 19.6.15 18 cm Today's date is 22.6.15 23 cm!

Measurement

This couple week's room 1 and 2 have been doing measuring and we have been doing school's and gardens and this is what it looks like. That's my garden and that's my reasons and calculations and this is the title at the front. The Funniest bit was finishing it and the hardest bit was making the sand pit cover. Next time I need to Know how I am going to organize it differently.

My Thinking Key's

For the last week the class has been doing Thinking Key's and there were 20 Thinking Key's and I finished all of them. now I will tell you what I liked and think was the hardest and what was easy and what I have learned. We had to put a lest 5 question's on it!

I have learned how to Trap A Rainbow you will an Old Bed a Suitcase and a Toy Car and definitely a Rainbow and this is what I did.

The easiest activity was was The Alphabet A-Z on Light and The Picture and this is what it looks like. 

My favourite activity was The Invention's and this is what it look's like.

My hardest activity was The Brainstorming and it was How to encourage people to wear sunblock during the day it was hard because I had to think of lots of things that could encourage people to wear sunblock and it is hard to think of ideas like that! and The Interpretations and you have to do an explanation that light is orange not white and I said " Light can be orange and white because the sun is red and you can get lot's of coloured lights! and my old bedroom had used to have orange and white lights!!!!! SO THEY CAN BE BOTH COLOURS!!! 

George's Adventure

One sunny day George went to a corn field and because he is a corn cob the other corn people turned him into a big corn cob and off George went to the giant land .It was a cold gloomy day in giant land! “Watch out George” said a giant from nowhere, George was about to get stepped on! He went to a big house and found a little bed and went to sleep. In the morning he went on another adventure so off he went to the forest he started to build a tiny house in the tree. He got everything he would need. It started raining but even worse it was a THUNDERSTORM!!! So

George went inside his little house and at least it was finished building his house!!!Then someone knocked on his door and George opened the door and there was another corn cob there he let him inside and asked “what his name was” and he said “Bob”. They became really good friends. Then there was a bang and another big BANG,BANG,BANG!!!!!!!!!!! Then they both wanted to go somewhere else and off they went to find somewhere else. Then the lightening nearly struck them so they went back into the house and went to bed!!!!!                !The End!
