On science day we were doing really fun science experiments and they were Prism play and we had to get a bucket of water and a crystal and a torch and a mirror then you shine the torch onto the crystal and put the mirror and then there is a rainbow on the table.
Then we were Making light bounce and you need 3 or 4 mirrors and a torch and a book to do it someone held the book with a mirror on it and shine the torch onto the other mirrors and then it would reflect onto the persons face who was holding the book. We were learning how light bounces in a straight line
And another one was Concave and convex and to do it you will need a spoon and a torch and if you put the torch far away from the spoon it will look really bright and if you put it close to the spoon it just looks like a little tiny dot!
And we did computer games and some of them were really hard!!! Here are some games!
And our next activity was Reflection Investigation and to do it you will need a Lego piece or character and 2 mirrors and an angle sheet and chart to record findings. And you do it like this so you get the angle sheet and you put the Lego character and put it in the middle and then you put the mirror on the top and then you see all the angles of the things.
Solar Energy ice cubes and you need blue, green, black, yellow, white and red and you need 6 ice cubes all the same colour and size and then you get a colour and ice cube then you put the ice cube on the piece of paper you choice then you put it in the sun the you wait and see which one melted the fastest! I enjoyed the ice cube one and the hardest bit was the computer game the rainbow one because you have drag a light to the rainbow!!!
