The All Blacks

The women were going to go on tour but the boys didn't think that they weren't meant to play rugby so the they didn't go on tour.
The All Blacks were the first to win the Rugby Cup.
Instead of a cup it used to be a shield.
New Zealand is represented by a rugby team for the first time.
During one match a dog ran onto the field while someone was nearly getting the try.

WE ARE ACTUALLY HOPEING THAT THE ALL BLACKS WIN SO WE ARE MOSTLY WEREING BLACK AT SCHOOL BECAUSE WE ARE SUPPORTING THE ALL BLACKS!!!!!!!!

Kiwi for Kiwi Morning Tea

The Kiwi lays 10 eggs and 9 get eaten and die and only 1 survives.
We gave all the money to the Kiwi Conversation Club

This morning tea Friday the 16th October room 1 and 2 had a morning tea and all of my food went into  tummys and we raised was $600 and its all going to the Kiwi.

                                                 Facts about the Kiwi

Northland brown kiwi are unique as their own type of the brown kiwi species. They have their own genetic makeup, behaviour and ecology and are slightly larger and heavier than the three other brown kiwi taxa.

Northland brown kiwi grow to about 40cm. Females are on average 20-30% heavier than males, weighing around 2.8 kg. Females have bills ranging from 117 mm to 156 mm long, while male bills range from 86 mm to 119 mm.

Kiwi can’t fly, have under-developed wing and chest muscles and lack a sternum (breastbone). This makes them particularly vulnerable to crushing injuries, such as those caused by dog bites.

The Awesome Zoo Trip

At the Zoo I learnt that Otters hold hands while they sleep so they dont float away.
My favourite animals were the Otters, Tigers, The Tiger that was sitting laying right next to the glass sleeping on its tummy and all the other animals. one of the Meerkats was laying on the wall and it crossed its legs and folded is arms and we were all looking at it and then the Meerkat quickly stood up and ran off, and my group was the first group to see the Red Panda and it was in the tree curled up.
